I’ve never understood how people can just walk away from something they believe they should have. If you really want something, why do you let fate get in the way? On the flipside though, everytime you fight for something or someone that doesn’t fight back for you, a little part of you breaks away. Maybe that’s why a fighter has so many battle scars. That said, maybe I won’t ever be the girl who walks away without a fight. Maybe I won’t ever be the girl who gives up when she knows things aren’t going to work out. But you know what, ask me any day whether I’d rather hold on to what I believe in or walk away when things are still beautiful, and I’d tell you I’d rather get hurt by fighting, than live my life wondering what could have been.
